Take A Moment – Meditation Immersion Morning 1
Click the audio clip below to listen…
Welcome to the first meditation in our 6 for 7 Meditation Immersion!
I know I promised a short, sweet 6 minute or thereabouts audio for you to pop on when you first wake up in the morning…but…errrr…it seems Source had other plans.
What I actually heard, as I downloaded this meditation, hot off the Universal Press just now, was…
“Sometimes we need to start out by pushing the boundaries, in order to test how willing we REALLY are to move beyond them…”
Thank you Universe! And who am I to argue with such sound logic? And with Source really? Not that we haven’t had our slight disagreements from time to time. I’ll give you one guess as to who generally wins the argument…😂
🙏 Take A Moment 🙏
So this meditation is all about, you might have guessed by now…taking a moment to immerse yourself in the moment! It’s about practicing the act of conscious and aware, presence.
Actually it’s about taking 11 minutes and 11 seconds. Yep…Source has a wonderful sense of humour too. I mean, how can I bicker about the meditation I promised y’all being almost double in length, when it just so happens to be exactly 11:11?!
🌈 Make It A Moment In The Morning 🌈
If at all possible, try to create the opportunity to engage with this meditation first thing in the morning…preferably tomorrow morning, aligned with the first full moon energy for 2019. Which also happens to be in the very direct sign of Leo, with all planets direct, oh and did I mention the total lunar eclipse?
This is a POWERHOUSE of energetic alignment that you can and should aim to use for serious and profound intention setting, getting as clear as possible on who you are becoming throughout this year and beyond…
It’s also a good time to look at things from a different perspective…challenges or questions that have been perhaps causing you uncertainty or anxiety…could start to look different in the light of this full moon. Bringing your awareness back to the present moment, at this time, will give you the opportunity to see things from a different angle, that you might have missed before.
Being more aware of your presence in each moment, will also allow you to see and seize various opportunities, as things start to shift and change in your everyday reality. The changes that are coming might seem a little full on and somewhat discombobulating…particularly if you don’t pause to acknowledge how you’re holding up amidst it all…how this energy is influencing your thoughts, feelings and behaviours…but it’s simply a part of the process. The journey you’re taking now, into the next evolution of Self!
🦄 Get Yourself Ready 🦄
Here are some tips to help you make the most of this moment you’re taking, for mindful meditation…
☀️ 1.Do it first thing in the morning.I cannot stress how highly effective this is in being much more aware of how you walk through your days. Most people switch into autopilot from that sleep state, as soon as the alarm goes off.
What they don’t realise is this is a waste of valuable theta waves! You are in a trance like state in those first moments of consciousness in the morning. You can use this time to literally “program” your mind to perform optimally throughout your day, as you go about creating your reality.
Set your alarm 15 minutes earlier for this meditation and allow yourself that beautiful moment as you wake to a new day of potential and possibility.
😎 2. Wear headphones. It’s so much easier to follow along and pull yourself back to my voice as I guide you, when you use earbuds or headphones. Have your listening device and headphones at the ready, so you can grab them without rousing yourself too much, as soon as you wake up.
When your mind starts to wander – and it will! – don’t panic and think you’re getting it all wrong, because you’re not achieving an ultimate state of Zen. Just acknowledge and allow the thoughts to come and go, and bring your awareness back to my voice.
✍️ 3. Journal and reflect. After you’ve finished taking this moment in the morning, allow a few minutes to “free write”. Grab a journal and just start letting the pen do its thing with the paper. Don’t worry about spelling or grammar or even making sense.
You might be surprised what you discover…including a deepening awareness and connection, the more you make meditation a habitual daily practice.
🎉 4. Enjoy! Just let the process evolve as its meant to, and as you’re ready. Everyone’s journey with meditation is entirely unique. Don’t compare your’s to anyone else’s and don’t think there’s a “right” or “wrong”. Whatever you’re doing, will be perfect for you in that moment. Go with it!
